HUW JONES - Founder & Executive Director
Huw has over 25 years’ experience working in Africa. He was a professional safari guide for many years, and subsequently worked in rural development and education e-learning development. He also consulted for the UN in Maastricht and for local government in Norfolk, UK.
Huw is a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society and holds an MSc in Environment and International Development from the University of East Anglia.
James is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and has held a number of senior finance roles in FTSE multinationals. He is an Executive Director of The John Maxwell Team, certified to facilitate, speak, train and coach individuals and groups in the areas of leadership development, professional skills and personal growth
James is also involved in a number of charitable projects and is particularly passionate about youth and community development projects.
DR B. FUNDAFUNDA Director of Virtual Doctors Zambia
Dr Boniface Fundafunda, Managing Director at Medical Stores Limited, provides guidance to the charity, particularly on engagement with the Ministry of Health.
As a resource on policy and operational system development for public health, Dr Fundafunda has over 20 years of work experience in both the public and private sectors, as well as the UN agencies.
MUYUNDA MUNYINDA Director of Virtual Doctors Zambia
Muyunda is Enterprise Director at Airtel Zambia. He has many years of experience, largely in the private sector, in industries including corporate banking, energy, mining, transportation and FMCG.
Muyunda studied at the University of Zambia (BA Economics) and the University of Cape Town (MBA).
Dr. PHALLON B MWABA - Director of Virtual Doctors Zambia
Dr. Phallon B Mwaba is a Zambian Medical Doctor, holder of a Masters in Global Health from the University of Glasgow, and currently pursuing a PhD in Social and Public Health. He has vast experience in primary health care, public health and health care management at hospital and district levels. He is passionate about health care management, global health and finding innovative ways of dealing with health care service delivery in resource limited areas and developing complex health interventions
NGENDA NYAMBE Director of Virtual Doctors Zambia
Ngenda is a former banker and financial markets expert with over 22 years of experience in the sector.
He is currently an independent consultant in the financial services industry, and is also an independent non-executive director of some commercial and public sector boards of directors.
SHAKERRIE ALLMOND, Director of Virtual Doctors Zambia
Shakerrie hails from Richmond, Virginia with over 6 years of experience in healthcare management. She has worked with multiple hospitals and skilled nursing facilities in the Richmond, Yorktown and Washington, DC areas. She is passionate about strengthening the capacity of Zambians to build a healthcare system that works for everyone, using private sector approaches to a public sector need.
CONSIDER MUDENDA In-Country Project Manager
Consider has a strong background in Computing sciences/Information management systems and strategic planning. He studied in Zambia and Italy (Computer Science), as well as at Heriot Watt University in Edinburgh (Strategic Planning).
He is an experienced project manager who has worked at University of California (School of Media and ICT), John Hopkins Bloomberg (School of Medicine), Tropical Health Education Trust (Nursing schools in Zambia), University of Zambia (School of Engineering and Medicine), Calvin College Netherlands (Education program),and the Scottish government (Emergency Care Services).
He has a passion for sustainable community development across the world.
