Just South of Lusaka is the town of Chilanga. Headquarters of the country's National Parks and Fisheries Department and also home to Lafarge Cement. The town has a gorgeous row of jacaranda and exotic trees lining the main thoroughfare. A few kilometres off the main road lies the Mount Makulu Research Station, a large agricultural and scientific research centre, which is also home to Mount Makulu Rural Health Centre.

I meet with Elyse, a Rwandan who escpaed the genocide in his country in 1994 settling in Zambia and working for many years as a Clinical Officer.
